Apparently Google intend to launch it’s own web browser. They have been working on the program for the past couple years, geared to compete with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. Production has been on the back burner until the news of the release of IE 8. Now they have speed up work on the OPEN SOURCE web browser. Yes, that’s right, open source, now users will be able to edit and improve upon Google’s web browser.
The new browser is called Google Chrome an unidentified source states. Google is working on versions for Apple and Linux systems. It should be available for download now, so be sure to check for it and see what it has to offer.
The rivalry with Google and Microsoft has made Microsoft to edit IE setting as to minimize Google’s uses on the web browser, for example making the installation of Google toolbar more complicated and what not.
