With the new unlimited streaming movies offered by Netflix, this new toy looks very interesting. The Netflix player by Roku, is a medium that cuts out the middle man, your PC, when it comes to streaming Netflix video from the web. The Roku player once activated can connect to your wireless network. Although you cannot add movies to the Roku player through the device itself ( must choose movies online with your PC) the Roku player streams directly from the Netflix server, so your PC does not have to be powered to watch the movies. I forgot to mention that the box plugs in directly to your TV. No more monitor, and it also comes with various TV out ports, including s-video and the digital optical ports for older TV’s.
The Netflix Player by Roku is a definite no brainer if your are currently a Netflix customer. The box comes at a one time price of $100. After that your unlimited streaming movie plan which i think runs around $10.00 a month will now be available On-Demand.

You can check out the Netflix Player by Roku at Netflix.com
