Now when it comes to to overused phrase of “iPhone Killer” I think we may have a winner. The G1 by T-Mobile has everything that the iPhone has to offer plus more. Specifically the keyboard and track ball for better functionality. I think the G1 running Google’s Android software will fare much better than the last attack on the iPhone (Samsung Instinct)! The date set for release in sometime in October. I wonder if stores will have people lined up and camping outside for this!?!? Doubt it but I would like to get my hand on one to take it for a test drive.

The first cell phone running Google’s mobile software looks something like Apple’s iPhone and has a large touch screen, but it also packs a trackball, a slide-out keyboard.

Google turns 10 years old! This is an interesting time line of events commemorating Google and it’s history on the internet. Starting out in a Stanford Basement Google has become the authority with respect to internet search engines. They are now branching out on to all other scenes internet related including web browsers, email platform, contextual internet advertising and many other venues.
